The Champion is a bold and emotionally charged stage production that follows four gym-obsessed friends as they recount the life of their absent fifth brother. Set within the realities of township life, the play uses boxing as a metaphor for manhood, survival, identity, and the emotional battles faced by Black men in South Africa.
