First Love

First Love is a theatrical adaptation of Samuel Beckett’s short story of the same name, directed by Qondiswa James and performed by William Harding. Combining storytelling with heightened physical performance, this one-man production transforms Beckett’s text into a visceral and dynamic theatrical experience. The story follows an unnamed narrator reflecting on life, loss, love, and isolation with Beckett’s signature blend of dark humour, humanity, and tragedy.
