USSO cond by Rik Ghesquière with Luc Ponet, Mario Nell (organ) - ENDLER CONCERT SERIES 2026

Join USSO for our Semester 2 Symphony concert, conducted by Rik Ghesquière. Experience the wonders of the organ, with Jongens' Organ Concerto (soloist Luc Ponet) and Saint-Saens Organ Symphony No. 3 (organ: Mario Nell). Dr Luc Ponet is professor of organ at Leuven University College of Arts campus Lemmens, titular organist of the basilica in Tongeren, organist-in-residence of Alden Biesen Castle and city organist of Leuven. He is visiting Stellenbosch University as part of the Organ Symposium hosted at the SU Music Department.

The first 100 Maties students receive free entry, after which student tickets will cost R60.
