This part-time introductory course focuses on acting techniques specifically for television and film. There will be 12 3-hour sessions on Saturday mornings from 08:30am – 12pm.
Students will learn skills of script analysis, characterisation, and acting craft by working practically with an experienced facilitator. Through the process of exploring various texts, and recording and analysing on-screen performances, students will develop their understanding of acting techniques, develop their own acting process, and receive feedback on their strengths and weaknesses.
The course begins on 15 August 2026 – 01 November 2026. Attendance in all sessions is required to successfully complete the course.
