Zaza’s Album “Blowing the Horn of Chronicle “Decade celebration (10yrs)

That’s Zanele "Zaza" Mokhethi’s solo debut live album, recorded at Soweto theatre and released in 2016 under her own label Zahza Holdings.

An album that achieved to reach double platinum status and more will be celebrated on the 24th of October at Soweto theatre, 3pm .Tickets will be sold at webticket for R400 . Zaza promises a spirit filled show and she’s wearing a sneaker (allstar) once again.

Zaza left Joyous Celebration in 2007 ,then joined Spirit of Praise group till 2015, Opened her own company and recorded her debut live album in 2016 building her own space for female gospel artists. It’s often cited as the album that best captures her elemental live presence, including her Zulu praise style.

She rose to fame with Spirit of Praise and Joyous Celebration ,she then continued with pursuing her first live album, Blowing the Horn of Chronicle under her own company, followed by her second live album, The Outpouring Chronicle in 2019,Shrubs of chronicle in 2021, Shabach shofar chronicle in 2023 and Sound of Gratitude in 2025, which lead to her being nominated for the South African music awards 2026 (SAMA32).
