SINKHOLE

Synopsis
An african contemporary dance production that shows life in a world shaped by
greed and desire, people have forgotten the value of the natural elements that
sustain them. Water, once honoured as a source of nourishment and life, is no longer
respected. Tired of neglect, exploitation and fear of extinction, it withdraws from
humanity and returns to its natural selection of life, far from the reach of people.

The absence of Water creates a grave imbalance. Disease spreads, economies
weaken, and loss of life increases. Communities struggle to survive as the very
foundation of human existence begins to crumble. What was once taken for granted
is now desperately missed.
