Arjan Tien is known for his energetic, detailed conducting and is also professor at the Conservatories of Amsterdam and Maastricht and an Extraordinary Associate Professor at Stellenbosch University. François du Toit is one of South Africa’s leading concert pianists, acclaimed for his artistry as a soloist, chamber musician and educator. He has recorded all five Beethoven piano concertos with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra.
